Design process
About
Between the years 2020 and 2023, I had the privilege of being employed as the UI and UX designer responsible for crafting a suite of cutting-edge e-commerce airline applications. Throughout this period, I collaborated extensively with industry giants Datalex and Endava to embark on a ground-up journey in creating more than four innovative products.
These products were meticulously designed and developed with the primary aim of revolutionising the airline industry, offering airlines a powerful set of tools to enhance and streamline their operational efficiency. This venture not only expanded my design skills but also contributed significantly to making many airline's management around the world a considerably more efficient process.
My Tasks

  • Conduct interviews with potential clients to collect valuable information about their specific customer needs.

  • Developed sitemaps, prototypes, and branding materials.

  • Crafted user experiences based on insights from user testing.

  • Ultimately, I handed off the project to developers and provided ongoing consultation for future decision-making.

Problem
Outdated airline systems can make simple tasks difficult and time-consuming. They can also be expensive to maintain and upgrade, and require regulatory approval before changes can be made. This can delay the implementation of new systems, which can further impact costs.
Solution
I worked with the client to understand their needs, consulted with airline experts to come up with solutions, and then created designs, prototypes, and tests to validate those solutions.
