Shaping the Future ofAirline RetailIn 2022, Datalex approached me to design a suite of three core products: Offer Management, Order Management, and Pricing Management. Together, these products have delivered impressive results—generating 20 billion offers annually, booking 120 million passengers, and processing $16 billion in payments each year.
ABOUT THE PROJECTBetween the years 2020 and 2023, I had the privilege of being employed as the UI and UX designer responsible for crafting a suite of cutting-edge e-commerce airline applications.Throughout this period, I collaborated extensively with industry giants Datalex and Endava to embark on a ground-up journey in shaping a suite of innovative airline products.
Creating the design for the Datalex Product Portfolio, the focus was on transforming the airline management experience into an engaging journey. I crafted a streamlined design that makes airline data easy to understand allowing airlines to better connect with their customers and differentiate their offering to win against their competitors. Underpinned by agility and speed to market.
THE PROBLEMMY TASKSConducting interviews with potential clients to collect valuable information about their specific customer needs.Outdated airline systems can make simple tasks difficult and time-consuming. They can also be expensive to maintain and upgrade, and require regulatory approval before changes can be made. This can delay the implementation of new systems, which can further impact costs.THE SOLUTIONI worked with the client to understand their needs, consulted with airline experts to come up with solutions, and then created designs, prototypes, and tests to validate those solutions.Developing sitemaps, prototypes, and branding materials.Crafting user experiences based on insights from user testing.Actively participating in every phase of the project's process to ensure its successful execution
